Oshodi-Isolo Council Chairman, APC Assembly Candidate, Party Chairman Receive Royal Blessings

... Monarch promises total support for the party

The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, the ruling All Progressives  Congress (APC) Lagos State Assembly candidate for Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1, Otunba Stephen Olukayode Ogundipe and the chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government area of the APC, Hon. Saheed Animashaun were showered royal blessings on Saturday by the Elewu of Ewu kingdom, HRH Oba Shakirudeen Adeshina Kuti when the trio visited the royal father on Saturday.

The trio along with other members of the party at the local government had visited the monarch to solicit his support for the candidates of the party in the general elections. 

According to the council chairman, the visit became necessary because the APC is planning to kick off its campaign in earnest and they need to inform the monarch and equally seek his blessings. 

In his words; "kabiesi, we are here today to officially inform you that our party, APC, will be kicking off the campaign for all its candidates in our local government soonest. We are here to get your buy-in and also your royal blessings. Our assembly candidate is here with us, we want you to pray for him, as a point of contact to all our candidates from the president to the last person."

The royal father warmly welcomed them to his palace and showed his profound gratitude for the visit. He assured the team of his total commitment and pledged support to all APC candidates.

He appreciated the manner with which the council chairman has been governing the local government, noting that there have been significant improvements in infrastructural projects.

He however urged him to continue and also informed other APC candidates to emulate him once they emerge.

According to him, "You all are most welcome to my palace today. I am highly delighted to receive you all. Concerning the candidates of APC and the campaigns that will soon kick off, I want to assure you of my total support. I will be supportive of the party and its candidates in any way I can. 

"Since Kendoo has become the chairman, he has performed extremely well in the area of infrastructural development projects. We still want more but he has indeed tried. I am certain all the candidates of APC will emerge victorious, once they win, they should not forget our people. They should emulate the council chairman in the areas of infrastructure and human capacity development. As you move on with the campaigns, I pray for your protection and eventual success at the polls."

The APC candidate, Otunba Ogundipe and the party chairman, Hon. Animashaun, both promised the king that APC will not disappoint the people.
