Oshodi-Isolo LG chairman, Oloyede Meets APC Ward Chairmen

... Promises to reward ward, zone and polling units with highest votes 

In a bid to maximally deliver an unprecedented highest number of votes cast for the ruling, All Progressive Congress(APC) candidates in the forthcoming general elections, the Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede on Monday held a crucial meeting with the party's seven wards chairmen that make up the local government. 

During the critical meeting which aimed at strategizing for the coming elections, the council chairman appreciated the wards chairmen, noting that he saw all their activities towards ensuring that the party waxes stronger and all the candidates emerge victorious in the coming election. 

He disclosed that the coming general elections will not be handled with kids' gloves because it is a must for his local government, not only to deliver but to also deliver maximally by coming first in the federation. 

While urging the party chairmen not to leave any stone unturned in making sure the party wins massively, Oloyede promised to handsomely reward the ward, zone and polling unit that delivers the highest number of votes.

He stressed that Oshodi is well favoured in the current scheme of things by having a Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Maruf Fatai Akinderu and Chairman, Lagos State Parks and Garages Management, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya (Mc-Oluomo).

The council boss averred that the only way to maintain the status quo is to aggressively campaign for the party and record the highest number of votes. 

In his words; "I appreciate you all for your efforts so far towards ensuring that our party waxes stronger. The crux of this meeting is to strategize for the coming election. Oshodi is highly favoured in the current scheme of things by having a Commissioner and chairman of the Lagos transport. The only way we can show our appreciation, before asking for more, is to vote massively for the party".

He continues, "I am making you a promise that I will reward handsomely the ward, zone and polling unit that gives me the highest votes."

Responding on behalf of the ward chairmen was the LGA chairman, Hon. Saheed Animashaun, eulogized the Chairmen for all their efforts and also promised that they will deliver for the party. 

Also present in the strategic meeting alongside the ward chairmen were LGA Secretary, Hon. Adekunle Kehinde, LGA legal Officer, Hon. Aleshiloye, Education Secretary, Comrade Mayowa Alakija, Chief of Staff, Hon. Leke Banjoko and Special Adviser on Media, Information and ICT, Hon. Tobi Salako.
