Oshodi-Isolo LG Chairman, Oloyede Thanks Residents at Election Victory Party 

The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede held a victory party in honour of the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who won a second term in office at the Saturday March 18 gubernatorial election.

The party was also held in honour of the MHR representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1 at the Federal House of Representatives, Dr. Bashir Dawudo and the Lagos State House of Assembly member-elect, Otunba Kayode Stephen Ogundipe who will be representing the Oshodi-Isolo constituency 1 at the state assembly. 

Oloyede in his welcome address thanked the residents profusely for the overwhelming support the APC received at the polls.

He said without the residents and party members' support, the election would not have been won by the All Progressives Congress  (APC). 

The council boss assured the residents of synergy between him and the legislators-elect in bringing development to the people of the council.

He said; "It was a tough battle but we thank God we won. Without your support, we won't have pulled through victorously. I thank you all for the support. 
I thank the security outfit for the peaceful atmosphere, before, during and after the elections. The youth, I thank you very much,  you are the strong holds of our success, we thank you for the support. 
I thank MC Oluomo for standing with us all through the process.
I thank the party chairman for his steadfastness. I thank the Chief of staff for the support, I thank the ES for the support, leader of the house and councillor of Mafoluku ward Kazeem Ogunoloko, for the first time we won Mafoluku in this election.

"Congratulations to our MHR and the Assembly member-elect, I want to assure you that the synergy between us will continue. We will continue to move on together at ensuring even greater development for our local government."

Ogundipe in his thank you message to the people assured them that he will work along with the local government chairman for the development of the council as they will both work to bring more dividends of democracy to the people.
