Oshodi-Isolo Council Chairman, Oloyede Felicitates With Christians on Easter


As Christian faithfuls celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, Christians in Oshodi-Isolo local government area of Lagos State have been urged to emulate Christ in all their dealings by being faithful, loving, accommodating and tolerant in all their dealings.

The admonition was given by the Executive chairman of the Local government, Otunba Kehinde Almoroof Oloyede in his Easter message issued by his media office on Sunday, where he preached for religious tolerance in the local government, Lagos and Nigeria in general.

Otunba Oloyede used the occasion to call on christians to continue to pray for progress and development of the local government as well as the nation in general. 

He posited that with love radiating amongst residents of the local government, progress will definitely be recorded and as such, all residents must live themselves as exemplified by the righteous life lived by Jesus Christ, who eventually gave his life for the sins of all.

Otunba Oloyede equally used the opportunity to reiterate his commitment to good governance in his local government, promising with the support of all, he will turn the fortunes of the local government around positively. 

According to him; "On this occasion of the years 2023 Easter, I celebrate with our Christian brothers and sisters, I wish them the best as they celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. His life was an exemplary one and I pray we all live in harmony, so that we can have a society of our dream, where love and harmony will radiate endlessly."
