Oshodi-Isolo Council Chairman Nominated for local government excellence award 
The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has been nominated for local government excellence award. 

The award is organised by the National Workshop on Accelerated Grassroots Development for Local Government Administrators and Nigerian Local Government Award (LOGEXA 2023)

The organisers of the award said the nominees were carefully selected after thorough scrutiny of their performances in office.
"with reference to our earlier call for nomination for the Nigerian local government excellence award, the following council chairmen are hereby presented to the general public to vote their preferred from each of the under listed states of the federation," the organisers said.

Categories of the award include rural electrification, education, rural road/transport, poverty alleviation, infrastructure, ICT, Agriculture, Security, works, welfare/human development, revenue generation, and youth/sports development.
