Don't Throw the Country into Political Turmoil, Group Warns Obasanjo As the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) prepares for the final collation and announcement of result of the presidential election held on Saturday, former president Olusegun Obasanjo has been warned not to throw the country into Political turmoil over his call for the cancellation of the election Obasanjo has in an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari has called for the cancellation of the result over the failure of INEC to update the election result on its website. The call was made on Monday by the Centre Against Injustice and Domestic Violence (CAIDOV) in a press release signed by its executive Director, Gbenga Soloki where the group described the call of the former president as an attempt to "force his preferred candidate on Nigerians", as he had  earlier endorsed the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi. 2023 ELECTION: OYEBANJI URGES ELECTORATE TO BE PEACEFUL …Asks Ekiti people to vote for Tinubu for greater development Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has urged electorates in the State to be law abiding during Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly Elections. The Governor who gave the charge in a state-wide broadcast on Wednesday night also asked Ekiti residents to vote for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu for a more enhanced economic and infrastructure development of the state. Oyebanji who has not minced words on his unflinching support for Tinubu stated that a Tinubu presidency would empower his administration to continue its people-centred development agenda.
